Pudong in Shanghai

Shanghai is located on the coast of eastern China at the mouth of the Yangtze River.

Shanghai is a tourist destination renowned for landmarks such as the Bund, City God Temple,
and its Pudong skyline including the Oriental Pearl Tower.

The Oriental Pearl Tower is 468m ( 1,535ft ) high and was the tallest structure in China from 1994–2007
( it was then surpassed by the Shanghai World Financial Centre. )
The Oriental Pearl Tower belongs to the World Federation of Great Towers.

Shanghai is the largest centre of commerce and finance in mainland China.

The Bund runs along the western bank of the Huangpu River opposite Pudong.

Chenghuang Miao forms the core of the old city of Shanghai.
Today the "City God Temple" refers to the temple complex
and also the commercial area around the temple.
The temple connects to the Yuyuan Garden - another landmark of the old city.
